Head Coach Spencer Louwagie

Spencer Louwagie just finished his fifth season as the head coach of the Esports program at SMSU in 24-25.

Louwagie has led the SMSU Esports team to multiple trophies in Valorant, Rocklet League, and Overwatch. SMSU has competed for many national trophies under the instruction of Louwagie.

Louwagie has been involved in Esports since 2012, creating the first SMSU Esports Club in 2014 where he competed as a top .1% of league of legends player. Louwagie spent time after college coaching a few amateur teams in the challenger scene within league of legends before transitioning to coaching at SMSU. He has coached the SMSU Esports team since 2020.
